Here is a video showing how to setup a Hauppauge HD PVR to record your Xbox 360 or PS3 gaming. This device captures FULL 720p HD video in M2TS format and is more than worth the $$$ for anyone interested in capturing their gaming in STUNNING quality. http://www.hauppauge.com/site/product…

Although this is an excellent device, it does have a few drawbacks if you’re not prepared. Please read below for details.

1) You need AT LEAST a dual core PC with AT LEAST 1 gig of RAM. The same goes for laptops! (Yes this does work with Macs now. BUT you’ll need a program called eyeTV 3.1 to capture the video as the archsoft capture software is not compatible with Mac

2) You need AT LEAST a 256 meg Video Card. I recommend a 512 or higher. I run a 1 gig video card, and I still experience some lag when editing…

3) You NEED HD video editing software that will recognize the M2TS files produced by the Hauppauge. (I use Sony Vegas Pro 9.0c, but Pinnacle Studio and Corel Video Studio work as well.)

If you have all the above, video capturing should be easy as pie, and you’ll have stunning HD quality videos on YouTube in no time!

Privacy is the most important thing in the Internet world.When you first log into a web site, your browser will ask you if you want to have it remember your password.You should NEVER save passwords on shared computers such as cyber cafe’s, schools etc. If you choose to store a password, that means someone else could get into your account and possibly do damage to it. In case if you have to give your laptop or PC to the service or anywhere, you have to clear your saved passwords to prevent from theft. So lets here we going to see how to clear the saved passwords from the browser.
STEPS-
1-Open your Browser and goto TOOLS.
2-Now click OPTIONS.
3-Under the SECURITY TAB click on SAVED PASSWORDS Button.
4-It will open a new popup window and show websites with saved passwords.
5-Remove the website whose password you want to clear.

and If you want that your browser doesn’t prompt you to save password then you can uncheck the REMEMBER PASSWORDS FOR SITES box under the SECURITY TAB.

Nine years ago, Maine became the first American state to provide laptop computers to all seventh and eighth graders in public schools. The northeastern state has since expanded that program to about half of its high schools. Now, one school system in Maine has launched a project to provide tablet computers — the Apple iPad — to all kindergarteners.Some people have criticized the project as a waste of money. But school officials expect it to increase learning. Laurie Gerard teaches five- and six-year-olds at Sherwood Heights Elementary School in Auburn, Maine. Before the students collect their iPad, they say a rhyme to remind them how to be careful with it: “Fingers on the bottom, thumbs on top, that way my iPad won’t drop.” Ms. Gerard plans to use different applications to help her create a learning plan for each student. The iPads have been in her classroom since the school year began in September. The principal of the school, Laura Shaw, says the iPads quickly let children know if they answer questions correctly. “When you have eighteen kids in the classroom and you see ten kids, hands raised up, the teacher does her best to get around. But sometimes, with the iPads and certain apps, the kids get immediate feedback.”Almost three hundred kindergarteners in Auburn are using iPads this year. Project coordinator Mike Muir says he believes the computers can help students improve in reading and math. Less than two-thirds of the third graders in the school system are at what are known as benchmark levels. Mr. Muir says: “One of our literacy interventionists was working with several of her students, and, having a hard time with helping them be successful, she finally pulled out her own personal iPad and had them work on some apps for letter recognition and letter formation, and they met the benchmark very quickly.”School districts in other states including South Carolina, Tennessee and Illinois are also using iPads. The project in Maine costs two hundred thousand dollars. Most of that money is from the state and the federal government. Not everyone supports the project. Elliot Soloway is a computer science professor at the University of Michigan. “It’s ridiculous!” he says, and not because of the iPads but because of the amount of money. Is the iPad an effective learning tool? Educators in Maine plan to give a report at the end of the school year. Here I have my T-Mobile HTC HD2, which is a Windows Mobile phone and I am going to boot Ubuntu on it. Ubuntu is a Linux Operating System for desktop and Laptop computers. It runs very nicely and is very smooth. It has text and 3G internet and all features of Ubuntu. It can’t make calls as of yet due to lack of drivers for the phone/modem.

India has developed a 35-dollar touch-screen laptop, touted as the world’s cheapest, under a programme to provide connectivity to students in schools and universities
The laptop unveiled by the country’s Human Resources Development Minister Kapil Sibal is described by the government as a ‘low-cost computing and internet-access device.’

Sibal said his ministry had initiated talks with global companies about its manufacture and hoped to bring down the price to 10 dollars after the device was mass produced.

‘India had developed another low-cost computing device last year but it cost about 65 dollars. This is a different model … it looks like an Apple iPad,’ Mamta Verma, a ministry spokeswoman, said.

The laptop has all the basic features, including a built-in keyboard, 2 GB of RAM memory, Wi-fi connectivity, USB ports and is powered by a 2-watt system for use in power-deficit areas.

The seven- and nine-inch (18- and 23-centimetre) Linux-based touchscreen gadget, which can be run on solar-power, in addition to the battery-operated system, is likely to be introduced in higher-education institutions next year.

The device was developed by research teams comprising students, professors and experts from the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Sciences.

India’s education policy aims at supplying connectivity to colleges and universities, providing low-cost and affordable access and computing devices for students and teachers and offering high-quality e-content free of cost to students.

The government spends just about 3 per cent of gross domestic product annually on education. The literacy rate has shown steady improvement over the past few years to reach over 65 per cent of India’s 1.2-billion population.

Q: Do I have to have an HD TV?
A: Preferably.

Q:Can I use the HD PVR to record gameplay on my PC?
A: No. You should try a program called Fraps.

Q: What laptop should I have for the HD PVR to work?
A: System Requirements are listed in the link above.

Q: I have a PS3. Does the HD PVR work for it?
A: HD PVR is compatible with the 360 and the PS3.

Q:How do you make your videos smaller in size?
A: Render them in Sony Vegas Pro.

Q:When I install it says hardware not found.
A: Make sure you updated the HD PVR and plugged it into your laptop/PC

Q:Will this work on a HD READY tv?
A: Yes.

Q: Can I use AV cables to record in High Definition?
A: You will not be able to record in HD because AV cables don’t support high quality display.

Q: Can I use any TV?
A: Yes. If you want to record in HD though it CAN’T be using AV CABLES. AV doesn’t support HD. Component Cables do.

Q: Can I record using the HD PVR without a computer by connecting it to the TV and Xbox?
A:No unfortunately you can’t. You need a place to save the clips and the PVR doesn’t have storage space.

Q:Should the HD PVR be plugged into the computer when installing and updating using my CD?
A: Yes and make sure the PVR is on.

Q: Since it doesnt take HDMI, is it going to make the quality worse on the TV?
A: No. That’s because component cables are made for High Definition therefore the quality isn’t affected at all. You play in HD, You record in HD.
