I just ordered a refurbished computer from apple. It says it will ship within 24 hours and arrive tomorrow or the next day. I live in Georgia so I would assume it wouldn’t be coming from California like their new computers. Anyone know?

they have storage places all around the world. I ordered one from England and it was shipped to my address from Portugal so you never know where they are coming from.

The most important thing is that you get your mac in good condition

I’m especially looking for answers about open-boxed computers. There was something wrong with them, but they have the manufacturer’s warranty so what’s the risk.

We sell these at our work. They are typically units that have been supplied as demo or returned under warranty and repaired. The units are fully refurbished and checked.

The main issue is when there is a failure. Quite often the manufacture will want to replace the unit.
Particularly if the repair will be time consuming or the fault was unable to be fixed and /or no parts are available for that model.

My advice is to check the warranty Information carefully.

I want a new computer, but i saw that refurbished computers are a lot cheaper than new ones. So are they any good?

When it comes to Apple products always buy new. Like any other computer always buy new. Apple customer service can be annoying at best. I have purchased refurbished Apples and only had one good experience out of four.
