I show you how to completely disassemble a HP DV7 Series Notebook Computer. The computer was given to me with a suspected bad motherboard. This guide can be used for all of the HP DV7, DV6, and G-Series notebooks built and sold from September 2007 to roughly April 2009. The video series is a six part series that shows even individual component teardown and proper removal of case pieces without damage.

If your laptop is giving you some form of grief or another, trust me….you are definately not alone. I myself have had my share of computer frustrations over the years. I kind of used my curiosity to dive outside the box to see if it was something I could handle on my own. And you know what? Before long I was building my own computers. I found that there are many experts out
there that share their knowledge and guide others in an understandable way to help them get up and running again in whatever area they are having trouble with. I thought ALOT of things were just over my head, but after checking out and listening to the pro’s, I learned better.
With laptop computers for example, I learned that replacing the lcd screen was pretty easy, replacing the keyboard and missing keys was a cinch as well. Alot of computer hardware such as the cpu, memory or RAM, CD DVD drive, keyboard, hard drive, and battery just unplug or plug into a slot.
And just a little preventative maintenance really helps a laptop last as well. Cleaning the cooling fan on a regular basis is a big help.
And always use good ventilation under your laptop. Try not to set it on a flat surface. You can find at your favorite department store “Fan decks” that
go under your laptop. You’ll also find that no matter what brand of laptop you have say a Dell, HP, Acer, Compaq, Sony Vaio, Toshiba, or just whatever brand that have you could learn the nuts and bolts of your system. Just remember, all it takes is just trying.

Description – Very nice laptop to use. Lightweight. In perfect running condition. Refurbished by myself and runs smoothly. Perfect PC for anyone looking for a smaller computer to carry around. Very fast in my opinion for the CPU and is great for surfing the internet, watching movies, word processing and many other uses! Netgear wi-fi card is included and pre-installed for fast web-browsing.

Condition – Few light scratches around lid and on body. Small mark to the left of the track pad. There is a small crack in the right-hand screen hinge but is purely an aesthetic issue, as it is structurally sound. The left-hand track-pad mouse button is not as responsive as it used to be. Alternatively, a tap on the touch-pad or use of the upper mouse keys works fine for left clicks. The battery is working but only lasts about half an hour. New batteries are quite inexpensive though (from what I have seen).
