This is my new Lenovo ThinkPad R500! I got this computer for $100 from my local computer store. This laptop has absolutley no wear on it at all, the hinge doesn’t even have any wobble it it! Let me tell you the specs:

-Intel Core 2 Duo T6570 @ 2.10 GHz (Socket P, 2MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)
-2GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
-160GB SATA 5400RPM Hard Drive
-Intel GMA-4500MHD 128MB
-Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 64-bit
-6-cell battery
-WEI Base Score: 3.4
-15.4-inch 1280×800 Matte Finish Display

I use this laptop as my school computer, mainly because it has a great battery. This life is over 3 hours on a full charge!

System Recovery How to Fix Computers That Will Not Boot up

There is a cost free remedy you can use if your hard drive will not boot up, or when you have a BLACK SCREEN. This radical resetting of the computer is called a system recovery (not a system restore) This will put your computer back to factory settings but you will lose any files on your Hard Drive like pictures, music and word documents. THIS IS HOW IT WORKS :Some older computers and ALL Toshiba laptops come with a system restore disk. Simply place the disk in the CD tray and hit ENTER, if that does not work, power the computer off and on with the disk in the tray, wait for the special system recovery screen to appear, (be patient) If you were not issued with a disk, then the following is for you.Each computer manufacturer has a special key you have to hit WHEN YOU POWER ON the computer. HP and Compaq desktops/towers/laptops F11, E Machines and Gateway F11,
Sony PC/laptop F11, IBM and Lenovo towers and laptops all use F11 function key for system recovery.
Dell laptop use Ctr + F11
Acer and TRAVELMATE Laptop Alt + F10Toshiba laptop F12 Here is the trick- power the computer off, and then power it back on and start tapping the appropriate key eg F11 until a screen pops up saying “DO YOU WANT TO DO A SYSTEM RESTORE” OR “WELCOME TO SYSTEM RECOVERY MANAGER” Once you see something appear on the screen, stop tapping and just follow the instructions. Some of the older computers may ask you for the restore disks so have those ready. Most newer computers do not need restore discs. The whole system restore could take 2 or 3 hours. Let’s browse the Web with an old but magnificient IBM Model 5155 Portable Computer (1984) : Intel 8088 @4,77 MHz – 640 KB of RAM – 20 MB RLL Hard Drive (Seagate ST238R) – Built-in 9” amber CGA display. This transportable computer weights no more than 13,6 kg. Software : Antonio Lopez Molero’s PPPD for DOS Packet Driver + MSDOS 6.22 + Bobcat (Lynx port to DOS) web brower. I used an HP Laptop running OpenBSD 4.4 as a PPP gateway, allowing the IBM 5155 to connect to Internet via a RS232 cable. The laptop is connected to a DSL Router via a wireless NIC. This video is a basic illustration of the method described in a PDF document I wrote some times ago, explaining how to connect old computers to Internet via RS232 serial cable and DSL Routers, using PPP and SLIP protocols and an OpenBSD PPP/SLIP gateway.
